SEAT customers will receive the benefits of car personalisation, both in and out of their vehicle. Now available in many countries, customers can personalise their driving experience using the infotainment system in their vehicle. They can also control it using the My SEAT App.
Customers can now customise their vehicles with the help of the My SEAT App. The car can be customised as per the last settings of the customer (if any). If a customer is using the My SEAT App for the first time, the system will remember their preference and apply it every time they step into a SEAT.
The vehicle can be customised in numerous ways. This includes the seat and steering position to climate settings and more. In all, there are over 600 custom settings that customers can choose from.
All SEAT customers will have a SEAT ID. As soon as they enter this ID, the car settings will be automatically applied. As mentioned above, if the customer is changing their settings for the first time, the system will save the changes automatically.
Customers can also enrol their vehicles with SEAT CONNECT with the navigation system activated. With these settings, the system maps preferred routes or frequently travelled destinations and automatically synchronises the navigation system.
With SEAT CONNECT, customers can enjoy a custom experience each time they step into their SEAT cars. Customers can also adjust their settings in the car or through the app. This removes the hassle of adjusting your seat or mirrors every time you’re in the driver’s seat. All you need to do is sign in with your SEAT ID and drive. These settings are available across all SEAT vehicles.
This is a common question. When you’re the new owner of a SEAT, you can delete the old data using the factory reset function and enrol again. The new registration process is simple and customers will be helped by a registration assistant.
Once they create their SEAT ID, they can enter their VIN in the My SEAT App or log in to the infotainment system with their ID and credentials. Once users accept the terms in the My SEAT App, they become the primary user and begin the two-key verification process. This process is straightforward. You need to press the unlock button on both keys–not simultaneously. The enrolment will be complete after this. If customers choose to complete their enrolment through the My SEAT App, it is called out-car personalisation. Completing the enrolment through the infotainment system is called in-car personalisation.
