Activate Horns and Signals Remotely with SEAT CONNECT

We all have been in a situation where we cannot find our vehicle in a crowded place or a big parking lot. That’s why SEAT made the Horn and Turn Signals feature. With this feature, you can use your My SEAT App to turn your car’s horn and turn signals on at any time, allowing you to find your car in even the most densely populated places.

This feature is available for the primary and secondary users of your car. It can be reached by downloading the My SEAT App and, once open, selecting the Vehicle tab, and then the Horns and Signals tab. From there, simply push the button and your car’s horn will sound so that you can locate it wherever you need–even if it’s in the middle of many other vehicles.

Please note that you can only use this feature if the "Share My Position" mode is activated on your app. To toggle the Privacy Mode, go to the settings of your app and activate it.

This feature works if your vehicle is located within a 500 meter radius of your position. If the vehicle is elsewhere, Horn & Turn Signals will not work and you will receive a notification saying that your vehicle is out of reach.

This service is available for all countries and territories including Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Luxembourg, Latvia, Denmark, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Denmark, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Finland, Spain, Croatia, Albania, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Macedonia, Sweden, Poland, Malta, Bosnia, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Greece, Gibraltar, Montenegro, Cyprus, and Andorra.

So, how does it work?

The customer can activate two types of signals: the horn of the vehicle, and the hazard and turn signals.

When you find your car, you can disconnect these signals using the buttons of the app, in the Horns and Turn Signals of the My SEAT App.

With the Horns and Turn Signals Feature, locating your car is no longer a stressful moment. Now, you can find your car in the most crowded places within a 500 meter radius. Simply disconnect the service once you've found it!

Please bear in mind that horns can only be activated in a safe place where it doesn't interfere with traffic and road regulations. For example, horns cannot be used in a place where they are likely to bother other drivers.
